This is a great opportunity to join the Vehicle Solutions team at Motability Operations. We are recruiting new apprentices to join our growing team at our state of the art repair centre in Coalville.During the programme, you will work towards a Level 3 Vehicle Damage Paint Technician or Panel Technician qualification, depending on your chosen pathway. Alongside classroom based off site block release training, you will quickly gain practical skills and real work experience. You will learn while you earn, supported by experienced senior technicians who will mentor you throughout your apprenticeship.If you have the passion and commitment to join Motability Operations, are eager to learn, and want to build a long term career, this apprenticeship could be right for you.

What you will learnYou will learn how to:Assess damaged vehicles accuratelyIdentify additional faults not found during the first inspectionPrepare surfaces by stripping, sanding and masking areasEtch and prime areas that need treatmentColour match and mix paintApply paint using spray booth technologyUse buffing and polishing techniquesCorrect paint defectsWork across mechanical, electrical and trim areasYou will also:Attend all mandatory training as part of your apprenticeshipComplete all practical and theory work in line with apprenticeship standardsEscalate issues to your supervisor or mentor when neededMake sure all work is completed safely and meets our standardsGet approval from the appropriate supervisor before carrying out work outside your normal dutiesLive our values in everything you do
