Easton Farm's Royle Eventing is a busy, friendly yard with lots of opportunities to learn and develop.
They are looking for a Level 2 OR 3 EQUINE GROOM apprentice - someone who is willing to learn, is reliable, has lots of energy and who is trustworthy - A great attitude is very important!
Prior experience with horses and caring for them is essential.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Turning out/bringing in
• General stable and field maintenance
• Tack cleaning
• Tacking up
• Feeding and preparing feed
• Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming if possible
• Bathing
• Riding
• Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, long reining, pessoa training etc.)
• Assisting for vet/farrier/dentist
• Possibility of grooming at shows
To apply for this role you must be a UK resident or have lived in the EU 3 years or more.
