Key Duties
During your apprenticeship, your responsibilities will include:

Preparation of Accounts: Assist in preparing financial statements, trial balances, and management accounts for clients across different sectors.

Tax Returns and Calculations: Support the preparation of personal, corporate, and VAT tax returns, including calculating tax liabilities and deductions.

Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and support clients with day-to-day bookkeeping.

Payroll Processing: Help process payroll, calculate wages, manage deductions, and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.

VAT Returns: Assist with preparing and submitting VAT returns and maintaining accurate VAT records.

General Office Administration: Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, managing correspondence, and maintaining office systems.

Client Communication: Respond professionally to client queries and provide basic guidance on routine accounting processes.
