What You’ll Be Doing This is a highly varied role, with full training provided. You will be involved in: Product Design & Graphics • Creating product artwork using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) • Laying out personalised designs for engraving or printing • Preparing templates and jigs for production Production & Making • Using industry-grade equipment such as laser engravers (CO2, fiber), UV printers, heat presses, and vinyl cutters, folding machines to create products • Operating finishing tools including polishers, ultrasonic cleaners, and packaging machines • Quality control, assembly, and packaging of orders Photography & Media • Photographing products in our in-house studio using professional studio equipment - cameras, lighting setups, props etc • Editing product images for listings, ads, and social media Listings, Marketing & Social Media • Writing engaging product descriptions for platforms like Etsy, eBay, and Shopify • Creating and scheduling social content across Instagram, Pinterest, etc. • Supporting promotions, launches, and email campaigns What We’re Looking For • A strong interest in design, product making, and technology • Confident using or keen to learn Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop especially) • Keen eye for detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to multitask • A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in with hands-on production tasks • Basic photography or content creation experience is a plus • No prior experience required – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Location & Working Hours • Based in our Manchester City Centre studio • Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (full-time apprenticeship) • Smart-casual attire Pay & Benefits • £7.55/hour (in line with current apprentice pay rate for age group) • 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) • Mentorship and training from experienced makers, designers, and business owner • Opportunities to grow within the business long-term
